I was up there with my mother (72!) on 31st October when the mountain was covered in snow and ice several feet thick on the summit ridge and summit. Lot's of walkers there were sheltering around the building, most against the back where we had out snow picnic leaning against the shuttered summit facing windows. The summit building was covered in snow and ice. I can forward photo's if wanted?
